A. Lobbying is the act of encouraging lawmakers to vote a specific way on a bill or other legislative matter. The National Medical Reserve Corps Association will not actively participate in lobbying activities. However, the Association will take an active roll in the education of lawmakers at city, county, state and national levels about the MRC program, its needs, measures that may threaten the program and ways they can help support the MRC and ensure its continued success. If you need our help working with lawmakers or other stakeholders, call Mike at 435-792-6576.
