Welcome
Welcome to the National Medical Reserve Corps Association. This organization was formed in 2010 to help promote and otherwise support the MRC program at local, state and national levels. The Association expands and supplements activities sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the National Association of County and City Health Officials.
The NMRCA is incorporated as a non-profit organization in Utah, and it currently maintains a federal 501(c)3 tax
exempt designation.
Member Benefits
There are no football-shaped telephones, commemorative coins or bobble-head statues. Your membership simply provides funds to help promote and support MRC programs.
That includes:
- Educating partners and stakeholders
- Providing a voice for MRC programs
- Reaching out to businesses and benefactors who can support MRC programs
- Coordinating the group purchase of marketing and promotional materials
Member units may utilize the Association's tax exempt designation for donations. The Association will also seek partnerships with various vendors who might provide funds or products to meet the needs of individual units or regional groups of units. Additionally, the Association will work to
ensure that federal funding for the program continues at or exceeds current levels.
